The Lassen High School Alumni Picnic is one of the Alumni Association’s longest-standing traditions, bringing together hundreds of graduates, family members, and friends each year to celebrate their shared connection to Lassen High School and the Susanville community.

Held annually at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, the picnic provides alumni from many different graduating classes the opportunity to reconnect with classmates, meet fellow Grizzlies from other generations, and celebrate the school that helped shape their lives. The event typically includes a welcome from Alumni Association leadership, recognition of special guests, and honors for alumni who have made meaningful contributions to the Lassen High community.

With great food, lively conversation, and a strong sense of nostalgia, the Alumni Picnic continues to be a highlight of the year for many graduates. It serves as a reminder that while alumni may travel far from Susanville, their connection to Lassen High School and the friendships formed there remain strong.
